Our Tunnel side table is part of the exhibition Humble design
Glue Design Festival, Amsterdam
September 18,19 & 20
Binnenkant 17, Amsterdam
amsterdam
The exhibition is daily open 10 AM - 7 PM
Humble design expresses a mentality of respect and responsibility towards objects, materials, functions, forms and uses.
In deceivingly simple, minimalistic forms, the designers presented here tell complex stories about how their designs are entwined with the surrounding world.
The modest forms and objects result from a passion to find new approaches toward the (re)use of materials and resources in todays oversaturated world of things, data and stimuli.
Far from being shy or insecure, these designers are humbly working for a better looking world, with respect for what it already has to offer.
Designers:
Atelier NL
Boris Tellegen*
Femke Dekkers
Geke Lensink

Paper Factor
Rive Roshan
Tjeerd Veenhoven
