Waterland Plein Podium Amsterdam

The project was born from a desire to create a vibrant meeting point for local residents that avoids the emptiness often associated with unused stages. “We recognized early on that an idle podium can evoke a sense of desolation,” says Frank Tjepkema, founder of Tjep. “This insight drove our decision to design a space with dual functionality—both a striking aesthetic feature and a practical performance venue.”
