Gorgeous Modern Contemporary Lowboy Dresser

This stunning lowboy dresser has been fully refurbished in a custom warm off-white finish.

It features eight spacious smaller drawers on one side and four larger drawers on the other. The four larger drawers have been custom hand-fluted. All hardware has been upgraded to brand-new brushed brass handles and k***s.

The top has been stripped back, refinished, and sealed. The painted body is sealed with polyurethane.

Every drawer has beautiful dovetail joints and glides smoothly.

This three-piece custom project was a huge transformation and so rewarding to complete.

The black hutch was fully repainted, fitted with custom hand-fluted drawer fronts, and had the original backing replaced with smooth plywood. The white display unit was also repainted and custom fluted throughout the back panel, with some top detailing removed for a cleaner, modern look. The matching side table was refinished in black with custom fluting added to both the drawer front and sides.

A lot of hours went into these pieces, but seeing the finished result made it all worthwhile.

The goal was a cleaner, more modern style that she can enjoy for years to come, and I think it turned out beautifully!

This beautiful solid wood tallboy chest was a commission piece for my best friend painted in Porters paint Irish linen and timber detailing was stripped back and refinished and sealed with a hard wax oil with a new brass hardware. Check out the before photos below 💜

Massive solid oak tallboy chest featuring 10 spacious drawers. This piece has been professionally refinished in a custom sage green color and sealed with polyurethane. The solid timber detailing has been stripped back, restored, and finished with hard wax oil.

This tallboy is extremely heavy and incredibly solid; every part of this piece is solid oak, including the backboard, drawers, and drawer runners.

Please note: You will need at least two people for pick-up due to the weight. I’m more than happy to assist where I can, but I cannot stress enough how heavy and solid this piece is.
