***HISTORIC BUILDING FOR OUR HOSTEL---Manila Bay Hostel is on the 4th floor of one of Manila's historic & once elegant buildings, the Bel-Air Apartments Building designed and built in 1937 with the original name 'Boulevard-Alhambra Apartments' by Phiippine National Artist for Architecture Pablo Antonio (please google). Why the name? In front of the building is Roxas Boulevard, behind the building is Alhambra Street...The Bel-Air --- a stunning streamline moderne structure --- has been given new life and a cool new painting color combination of light grey and cream. This art deco structure is easy to find---standing prominently at the southern corner of Rizal Park fronting the United States Embassy. The Bel-Air Apartment Building is historically significant because it both survived the bombs and shells of World War II, which burned down most of Manila. WHY MANILA BAY IS BEST LOCATION IN THE CITY? It's history, natural beauty not only for poets, painters and romantics, but for all who love nature... The history of Manila is closely tied to this body of water. VIA TAXIS FROM AIRPORT...From the airports, suggest you get ordinary taxis (ask airport guards or staff to show you DEPARTURE AREA of the airport where there are many ordinary taxis) and no need to use more expensive yellow-colored special airport taxis...

Tell the taxi driver to bring you to ROXAS (pronounced as 'ro-has') BOULEVARD near T. Kalaw Avenue, tell taxi driver 'almost across the USA EMBASSY and in building with CHOWKING', this area is very famous... if you are in Roxas Boulevard, we are in the building with the 24-hours 'CHOWKING' Chinese fastfood resto in the first-floor...

AT NIGHT, front door of building facing Roxas Boulevard is closed, AT NIGHT, please enter through back door of building by passing by YELLOW CAB PIZZA & STARBUCKS cafe and 7-11 Store, then enter side street (called ALHAMBRA STREET) to go to back door of our building... the whole area is always safe, we have 24-hours private securityguards also in the doors, we are just next-door to Miramar Hotel which also has 24-hours guards too... go into building lobby, please take the elevator and we are on the 4th floor in Unit 402, Welcome to MANILA BAY HOSTEL...


VIA cheapest, easy, no-traffic & recommended LIGHT RAIL TRANSIT OR LRT (only recommended if you don't have big luggage)... from the airport, please take a taxi to go to the nearest LRT station in BACLARAN STATION, then ride the LRT to go down at the UNITED NATIONS AVENUE STATION or UN AVENUE Station, then just walk towards Roxas Boulevard for Manila Bay Hostel (ask people for the 24-hours YELLOW CAB PIZZA & CHOWKING FASTFOOD, we are near there) or from LRT station, please ride a tricycle or pedicab towards us at Roxas Boulevard...

IF YOU COMING FROM CLARK AIRPORT OUTSIDE METRO MANILA...from Clark airport, please ride Philtranco bus going to PASAY CITY bus station of Philtranco, then from there take an ordinary taxi and tell taxi driver to use taxi meter and that you are going to ROXAS BOULEVARD near the USA Embassy, then look for the building with CHOWKING fastfood resto on 1st floor, we are here on the 4th floor at UNit 402...
