💼 Job Summary:
We are looking for skilled and reliable Vehicle GPS Installation Technicians to join our growing tracking services team. The selected candidates will be responsible for installing, configuring, testing, and maintaining GPS tracking devices in different types of vehicles. This is a field-based role requiring technical knowledge, attention to detail, and professional customer handling.
Key Responsibilities:
1: Install GPS tracking devices in cars, vans, trucks, buses, and other vehicles
2: Perform wiring, power connections, ignition connections, and device mounting safely
3: Test GPS devices after installation to ensure proper functionality
4: Troubleshoot and repair GPS tracking devices when required
5: Conduct device replacement, removal, and reinstallation as needed
6: Maintain installation quality according to company standards
7: Coordinate with the technical support team for activation and configuration
8: Visit client locations for on-site installations
9: Maintain job records, installation reports, and device details
10: Follow safety procedures while working on vehicles
11: Provide basic guidance to customers regarding tracker usage (if required)
Required Skills & Qualifications:
1: Minimum Matric / Intermediate (Technical diploma preferred)
2: Proven experience in Vehicle GPS Tracker Installation or auto electrical work
3: Strong knowledge of vehicle electrical systems and wiring
4: Ability to read wiring diagrams and installation manuals
5: Familiarity with GPS devices, GSM, antennas, and power connections
6: Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
7: Ability to work independently in the field
8: Must have a responsible and professional attitude
9: Willingness to travel within assigned city/region
Preferred Skills (Plus Point):
1: Experience with fleet tracking or telematics systems
2: Motorcycle with valid driving license
3: Basic knowledge of Android apps related to GPS tracking
4: Previous experience with tracking companies or auto workshops
Work Environment:
1: Field-based job
2: On-site installations at customer locations
3: Flexible working hours based on assignments
