Dr Muhammad Junaid, CEO of Mehboob Charity Vision Pakistan, has received the Fakhr-e-Pakhtunkhwa Award 2026 for Excellence in Humanitarian Healthcare & Public Health Leadership.

The award was presented at Nishtar Hall, Peshawar, by former Khyber Pakhtunkhwa governor Haji Ghulam Ali and ANP provincial president Mian Iftikhar Hussain. His work has included more than 1.5 million free patient consultations, over 55,000 sight-restoring surgeries and eye-health screening for more than 300,000 schoolchildren.

Dr Junaid dedicated the honour to his team, patients and supporters, saying that the greatest reward is helping patients regain their sight and giving families renewed hope.
