Hoje, vivemos o 𝗗𝗶𝗮 𝗠𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗱𝗮 𝗔𝗿𝗾𝘂𝗶𝘁𝗲𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗮.

Today, as we mark 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗹𝗱 𝗔𝗿𝗰𝗵𝗶𝘁𝗲𝗰𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗗𝗮𝘆, ADICO cerebrates spaces that come to life through people, and at Praça de Almeida Garrett in Porto, the 5008 OSAKA chair is part of an installation that invites visitors to stop, observe, and experience the city in new ways.
Designed by Japanese architect and designer Kengo Kuma, the 5008 OSAKA is a contemporary reinterpretation of ADICO's iconic Portuguese Chair 5008. By reducing the design to its essential elements, Kengo Kuma has created a chair of great visual lightness, where structure, light, and landscape come together. A fresh take on a Portuguese classic, conceived to build bridges between tradition and innovation, between Portugal and Japan, and between design and architecture.
Because architecture is not experienced solely in buildings: it is also experienced in the objects that invite us to pause, bring people together, and give places a human scale.
