Business owners and customers can tell something feels off.

The product is good. The team is capable. The intention is right.

Here's what can be happening:

The experience around your product or service has gaps that your customers feel but rarely articulate.

They don't say "your service design feels off." They just don't feel connected to it. And they might choose someone else next time, without telling why.

Maybe the communication that left people uncertain.

Maybe the moment between one touchpoint and the next where nobody was paying attention.

Or maybe the process that made sense internally and felt confusing from the outside.

Improving customer experience isn't about being friendlier or responding faster.

And this is where our work begins.

It's about understanding the journey your customer goes through from the moment they first hear about you to the moment they decide whether to come back and designing that journey intentionally.

Not assuming it will work. Not hoping it feels right, but designing it.

What's the moment in your customer journey that you know needs work but haven't fixed yet?

Sometimes, Design might be seen as an expendable cost.

The product is imagined. The service is defined. The process is set.
And then design appears to “make it look good".

Apple, Airbnb, IBM, OXO, and Philips did the opposite.
They made design the first decision. The strategic one.

The one that shaped everything that came after: The product, the service, the process, and the experience of every person who touched it.
The results weren't coincidental.

A peeler designed for someone with arthritis became one of the best-selling kitchen tools in history. A photo upgrade doubled Airbnb's revenue in a week. Design thinking gave IBM a 301% return on investment and cut time to market by 75%.

None of this required a bigger budget than their competitors.
It required a different questions.
And this makes the difference between a design investment and a design expense.

Are you ready to make the design decisions have you been ignoring?
Let’s talk!

It’s time to meet Yuri.
Our Full Stack AI Engineer: Efficient, studious, and cheerful.

At Everythink he builds strategies, experiences, and solutions that actually work. He combines practical ex*****on with a solid understanding of systems, cutting through complexity and turning ideas into results that hold up.

His superpower is turning a concept into reality. Whether he’s architecting full-stack systems, handling messy requirements, or shipping something that works, he focuses on getting it done properly.

His motto comes from the Codex Döbringer: “Practice does well without art, but art is little good without practice.”

Those words guide how he works every day. For Yuri, the job isn’t just about solving problems. It’s about building things that matter and stand up in the real world.

Soundtrack to his journey: “Deadweight” by Wolves at the Gate.

Design is People.
Come meet the team.

What do you look for when you need to hire a design team?

You might look at the portfolio.
You might compare prices.
Or even pick the one that felt most confident in the pitch.

But choosing a strategic design partner isn't the same as hiring a supplier.
It's closer to hiring a thinking partner.

Someone who will push back on the brief when the brief is wrong.

Who will tell you the problem you came with isn't the problem you actually have.
Who will protect the user's perspective in a room full of stakeholders with competing agendas.
That kind of partner is rare.

And it looks different from the outside than it feels on the inside.
So before you sign anything ask five questions:

Do they start with research or with solutions?
Agencies that skip research are selling you their assumptions.

Have they worked on problems like yours, not just in your industry?
Sector experience matters less than problem-solving experience.

Can they show you work that failed and what they learned?
Any agency that only shows successful case studies hasn't done enough work.

Do they tell you what you want to hear or what you need to know?
The best design partners are uncomfortable to work with in the best possible way.

Do they talk about the people who will use the solution as much as the solution itself?
If the user disappears from the conversation so does the quality of the outcome.

The right design team won't just deliver a product.
They’ll give you better, accurate insights about the problem you have in hands.
That's what strategic design actually means.

At Everythink, we don't win every brief we pitch.
If that's the kind of partner you're looking for, let's talk!

Great solutions don't start with ideas. They start with understanding the right problem.

We believe that Design Thinking can help to transform challenges into meaningful solutions.
Design Thinking isn't just a process. It's a mindset that helps organizations innovate with confidence, reduce uncertainty, and create solutions that deliver real value. It starts by identifying what truly matters, engaging with real people, uncovering genuine needs, and testing ideas early to learn what works before scaling.

People don’t need Design to impress.
We need Design to solve.

Sometimes, companies and designer create solutions based on their perception of the customer rather than on the customer itself.

Empathy helps bridge that gap.

Listening. Observing. Learning.

By observing behaviours, asking better questions, and understanding real-world frustrations, we uncover insights that lead to better products, better experiences, and better outcomes. Real innovation doesn't come from assumptions. It comes from understanding how people behave, where they struggle, and what they truly need.

We see empathy not as a soft skill, but as a strategic advantage that drives meaningful design.

Because we believe the best solutions start with understanding people.

When was the last time you spoke to the person you're designing for?

AI isn't replacing design. It's reshaping how we move through the design process.

The real opportunity isn't generating more ideas or producing more screens. It's reducing the distance between a question, an idea, a prototype, and evidence.

Research, observation, critical thinking, and decision-making still belong to people. What AI gives us is the ability to explore, iterate, and test faster than ever before.

The organizations creating real value with AI aren't using it to replace human judgment. They're using it to strengthen it.

Good design still starts with people. The question is:

Are you using AI to produce more, or to learn, test, and make better decisions faster

Design Thinking has a reputation problem.

Ask most people what it is and they'll describe a workshop. Post-its on a wall. A facilitator with markers. A team that leaves feeling energised and goes back to doing exactly what they were doing before.

That's not Design Thinking.

That's Design Thinking misused.

The organisations that get real results from it IBM, Airbus, Philips, the ones that outperform their competitors by 32% in revenue growth according to McKinsey don't use it as an event.

They use it as the way every problem gets approached.

Before the brief is written.

Before the budget is approved.

Before the first solution is proposed.

The difference sounds subtle.

The outcomes aren't.

One approach produces a good workshop and the same problems next quarter. The other stops organisations from spending money on the wrong answer before the money is spent.

That's what Design Thinking actually is.

Not a creativity tool. Not a design team methodology. A decision-making discipline that changes what question gets asked before anything gets built.

Swipe through to see what it looks like in practice and why the leaders who invest in it don't go back. 👉

Part 3 drops next week: how to implement Design Thinking in your organisation, step by step.

What's the biggest misconception you've heard about Design Thinking?

25/09/2026

Service design is just for big companies.

That's the most expensive myth in business.

Because while medium-sized businesses wait until they're "big enough" to think about experience design they're losing customers to competitors who already figured it out.

Not because those competitors have bigger budgets.

Because they stopped tolerating the gap.

The gap between what they thought they were delivering.

And what people were actually experiencing.

At Everythink, this is what we do.

Have you ever experienced a service that felt like nobody had ever actually used it? 👇

**It's time to meet Aline.**

Our Senior Strategic Designer, a creative thinker, and someone who believes that meaningful design starts with meaningful connections.

Driven by intensity, creativity, and a contagious sense of humor and optimism, she works at Everythink shaping strategies, experiences, and solutions that put people at the center. Her approach combines empathy, curiosity, and a deep understanding of human behavior to uncover opportunities and transform complexity into clear, actionable insights.

Her superpower is her ability to engage and connect with people. Whether facilitating conversations, aligning diverse perspectives, or translating needs into impactful solutions, she believes the strongest ideas emerge when people feel heard, understood, and inspired.

As Frida Khalo once said *"Where you cannot love, do not delay."* These words are Aline's *motto*, inspiring Aline everyday both personally and professionally.

For Aline, design is not only about solving problems. It's about creating spaces for collaboration, fostering meaningful relationships, and building solutions that resonate with people's lives.

And if there were a soundtrack to her journey, it would be *"Uma Vida"* by Dom Salvador & Abolição, a reflection of her energy, authenticity, and belief in the power of human connection.

**Design is People. Get to meet the team committed to building solutions that matter.**
