Everyone has a favourite tool thats been with them through thick and thin. If you take care of your tools, your tools will take care of you.

Upon removing from long storage, Japanese chef realised that his sakimaru takohiki ('round tip octopus slicer'), had rusted badly.
Being a DIY man, he removed the rust and sharpened it himself.
Restoring the hamon and surface pitting was too tedious so he handed it to us to take care of it. NGL this was not easy, but such a fun and rewarding experience. Glad we managed to exceed his expectations.
