A day to remember:
My artwork was presented by the King and Queen of the Netherlands to Suriname during the celebration of 50 years of independence.
The design reflects innovation and transformation with a focus on natural materials.
Born in Suriname, known for its beautiful wooden architecture and design, I drew my earliest inspiration from my roots and further developed my style during my studies in the Netherlands, giving my work natural Dutch influences.
I am honored that my Flow Wall Desk was presented as a gift by His Majesty King Willem-Alexander and Her Majesty Queen Máxima of the Netherlands to the President of Suriname during the celebration of 50 years of independence and the state visit. Video credit by Rick Evers
