It’s sure feels nice to get a shipment of the good stuff sure looks pretty but going to look better laying in dirt

To say this season was tuff is a understatement miles and miles were driven and walked to find no end of the tunnel we gave it our best and birds decided not to show up till the last weekend of season. And now we are covered up in our opinion Texas needs to move season but only a wish. Till September we will be prepping for season once again

Not too bad of a last Saturday after having the worst season bird number wise but we didn’t give up we got one more day left we are going to give it our best!!!

At least it wasn’t a skunked weekend. This season has been one of the hardest ever. Heat wave after heat wave. And what seems to a lot of people I know a shift in the flyway happened all we can do is learn and try to adjust.

You know your hunting season is not going well when you contemplate just going cook hunting instead of duck hunting. Duck season 2020 has been a even foe this year. North east Texas has been rough on us this year and thus not even a exaggeration. We still have a little over a month to go so let’s see what we can pull off after Christmas!!!

Well a slow start to the season but hey we are more than happy to be back in knee deep water trying to put a few birds in the tailgate. Opening morning groups stacked on top of each other with people sky blasting but was pretty amazing hearing them screaming above the competition gave us a slight edge when we could get around the groups and sky blasters we were able to smack a couple. Public land hunting never disappoints
