Ran up to Specialty Wood Products up in Bloomingdale today for some 16 ft Cedar log handrails we will be needing for a couple log staircases.

Loving the Adirondacks!

Very thankful for another great year with some incredible projects , incredible customers and an incredible crew!!

This year included seven Adirondack lean-to kits crafted, delivered, and installed including two for the state of NY . One on long lake and one on the Northville Placid Trail. A 20x24 timber framed cabin hand crafted in our shop, delivered and assembled including the enclosure system in Moose Ponds Tupper Lake NY .  We also took on and GCed a full start to finish two story 25x30  Timber Framed home here on Brant Lake . The only thing left on the home is the interior finishes which we will be doing this winter. We also crafted a handful of log staircases and railings, and a few Timber Framed Entryways along the way.

Once again very greatful for the customers who allow us to do what we love best and to craft these structures, and of course grateful for my crew and this year being able to bring my sons onto the crew and teach them some of this trade.

Another beautiful full screen Adirondack lean-to delivered and installed! This one went on Silver Lake in Ausable Forks NY.

One of the easiest installations we have ever done. Could drive right to the site, had a boom truck for setting the foundation and log shell.
Watched a nesting pair of eagles for the two days that we were there.
Perfect fall weather, and absolutely great customers!!

Bought a few loads of some beautiful Cedar logs over the past few weeks.

Logger has been bringing the Cedar out to the log landing tree length. I then go through tree by tree and cut the logs out to best utilize it for our projects. Very nice run of Cedar for our 2026 projects!🛠️

Another beautiful handcrafted Adirondack Lean-To delivered and installed in Blue Mountain Lake.

We used large rocks sourced from the property and worked with the excavation contractor to set them level and square. Makes for a great look! The customer is going to install a Cedar Shake roof on this one so we just dried it.

My middle son and I started this boat about 2 1/2 years ago. Last Saturday was its maiden voyage! It came out incredibly well!

Hudson did much of the woodwork, plugging, sanding, and painting. He also purchased the little electric motor with money he earned working this summer! So proud of you Hudson!
