Casa Cascada is a beautiful 3 BR 3 bath home that sleeps 8 and incorporates the Mexican culture with all the comforts of modern living. Very organic.

The building was personally overseen and everything was hand chosen. It's not just a 'generic' home. The location is fantastic and centrally located in the exclusive Corpus Christi neighborhood. You will never sha

re the home with anyone else. The living room opens to the pool via a large sliding glass door with flanking windows. For convenience right off the pool and living room, you'll also find a 1/2 bath and full laundry room, complete with laundry detergent, fabric softener and bleach. There is a large flat screen television with cable connection, surround sound stereo that also allows for music through the rock speaker by the pool. The home is 100% fully furnished...from towels and soaps to a blender for those sunset margaritas. There's a library of books to choose from, games to play, popular movie DVD's, sunscreen (in case you forgot yours), beach towels, beach chairs, high speed internet and so much more. You also have his and hers bicycles available for your use during your stay. The kitchen comes equipped with a stove, dishwasher, refrigerator/freezer, microwave and coffee maker. The dining room has a large window that overlooks the pool and landscaped yard. There is secure gated parking on the property for your rental car or scooter and you'll also find a luxurious pool with a waterfall Jacuzzi/hot tub that is just perfect for sunning when you want to relax around the house. There is also a scuba rinse tank to clean your dive gear. Don't forget the rooftop party deck! On the third floor, there is an awesome open air space just perfect for midday sunning, a sunset party or midnight margarita. There are 3 bedrooms...two spacious masters on the second floor and a downstairs bedroom that has a separate but lockable entrance. Every bedroom has its own pillow-top mattress, mini-split air conditioner, digital safe, flat screen TV, DVD player and clock radio with iPod docking station. Each full bath has a built in hair dryer. The Seashell bedroom has a king size bed (that can be arranged into 2 twins). It's decorated in Caribbean hues that are soothing and tropical. There is a flat screen TV with cable, DVD player, a dressing area, closet and a beautiful bathroom. The countertop is glass so you can see the shell design and sand below. There is a large walk in shower that is very luxurious. The large travel room has a king size bed and is decorated in earth tones and rich browns. There is a flat screen TV with cable, DVD player, a sitting area and also room to put a queen size air mattress (which is provided along with all the linens). The shower is elegant and unique with its large rain head shower and hand laid rock floor and border. The downstairs bedroom (the Fishbowl) is perfect for sleeping 3 singles (or 3 children). This bedroom, decorated in festive fish decor (including a hand painted underwater scene), has bunk beds with a trundle, a closet, flat screen television with cable, full bath AND it's own entrance into the house, a private garden and private outside gate (which can all be locked if needed). This room is also perfect for a live in house keeper or cook during your stay. We can also 'lock' this room so the home can be rented as a 2 bedroom. If you'd like to reserve the home, the first step is to contact me and I will send you a Guest Agreement to review, sign and email/fax back that explains all details such as check in/out times, pet policy, etc. This signed agreement protects both you and I. The next step is to pay the deposit which will finalize the reservation for your vacation home. The deposit is 50% of the total and the remainder is due 45 days before your stay. * Credit cards: I will take your credit card number over the phone and will process the deposit immediately and confirm your booking.

* Money order and personal check: If you prefer snail mail, please contact me and I will give you my mailing address. The home will not be reserved until the check or money order has cleared the bank.

Here is an update from my amazing property managers on the status of Cozumel, property rentals and protecting renters. It’s lengthy but thorough. 😊 Stay safe my Cozumel friends!

Hello, Friends and Homeowners!

Like many of you, we’re finally beginning to see the light at the end of the quarantine tunnel. We are cautiously optimistic that rentals will resume around the middle of June 2020, based upon comments of the state and local government, and so we are taking steps to be ready to receive guests again. We want share those with you.

The Mexican Secretary of Tourism posted new Covid-19 safety protocols yesterday on its website and opened up a portal to apply for certificates of compliance with those protocols. Unfortunately the site has no category that applies to vacation rentals (only hotels). Rodrigo wrote them yesterday asking for guidance, and we’re waiting for a reply. We are looking to get the certificate for Your Cozumel so we can present it to renters.

Meanwhile, we are going to follow the government-issued protocols, as well as those of VRBO and Airbnb, in order to ensure that our guests and our employees are safe during this uncertain time. The basis of all of these protocols are common sense tactics such as providing antibacterial gel and soaps in the properties; providing masks & gloves to staff; the use of cleaning products that are approved to kill viruses and bacteria; cleaning focused on light switches, door handles, remote controls and other frequently touched places or items; and other very sensible measures.

We’ve comparison shopped for sanitization products and have found that they do not cost much more than the products we have already been buying for your homes. We are going to purchase sanitizing mats for the points of entrance to your properties per the Secretary of Tourism’s protocols. The larger mats cost about $30 usd and the small ones are about $17 usd. We are shopping for a smoke machine that can produce a cloud of sanitizing product that we can use in between rentals. We hope to pair that with a deep clean every four to six weeks by a professional service like the one we applied in March 2020 at the start of the quarantine. We will work to keep the costs reasonable and safety at the maximum level we can achieve.

Your properities are in good shape. If you have a pool or garden, Limber has been attending to them as usual. We hope to resume weekly housekeepings next month. We are beginning to have some interest in Summer rentals. We’ve got our fingers crossed!
