After we bought our new home we naturally had so many projects. This was meant to be one of the first but ended up taking almost 10 months to finish. The room is not done yet but we are loving it.

After starting a new full time job, having our third child, and buying a new home, I have been MIA for too long. So I figured I would catch you all up with some of the recent things I've been working on.
After the kids old hand me down playset blew over I decided they needed an upgrade. This is what I came up with.

Threw together a little floating shelf out of poplar to try to help clean up our counters in the bathroom. Might just have to make some more of these for the house!

You could find me on weekends in my dad’s wood shop fascinated by what he could make out of 2 x 4s. I still carry that same fascination when I look at wood and envision what I can create with it.
My goal in making you a wood piece is to have something that you treasure and that can be passed down. I’m a softie at heart (don’t tell my guy friends) and get a lot of joy in knowing that something I make can last a lifetime and will hold memories for you and your family.
