We've flown from Lagos to Abuja yesterday and today we went to a huge vegetable & fruit market.

And a wonderful restaurant with delicious, healthy food from various peoples of Nigeria.

I can't wait to experience more.

Abuja is now the capital of Nigeria. Although the process of relocating the capital started in the middle 70's, the transition wasn't completed until 1991, when Abuja became the official capital.

The buildings here are among the most unique and as beautiful as a building can get. I will try to post some pics tomorrow.

Enraged & ready to continue fighting!

No matter who won any election, we would still have to keep fighting.

Who remembers the "repatriation act" of the 1930's? Oh yah, and then the 1940's.

Only this time we were told before it happened that it is going to happen - if we want it to.

Let me ask this: what "legal" hoops did Europeans ever have to go through to immigrate to the u.s.ofa.? Only their skin color was their legal pathway.

Seriously? Fu**in seriously???

"A driver found a box and a bag carrying early voting ballots in the middle of the road in Miami-Dade County, Florida, after an election worker forgot to lock the vehicle’s back door. The driver returned the ballots to a police station, and election officials said nothing had been tampered with or damaged."

In some other era, this might have been construed as a mistake. But in Florida??? Miami-Dade County: ground zero of Bush's election fraud...

But What Can I Do?
A Handbook of Change

“But What Can I Do?” is written and recently published by Xan Joi, a self-proclaimed radical Jewish and white le***an anti-racist womonist/feminist. It is an inspiring communiqué aimed at creating a common, shared knowledge base from which to foment individual and collective action dismantling patriarchy, racism, war, misogyny and creating the kind of society we want all to thrive in!

Since 9/11, Xan has driven over 400,000 miles in her veggie-oil powered box truck, all four sides of which are mobile billboards emblazoned with large, pointed anti-war, anti-violence, pro-peace, pro-empowerment missives. Xan shares her stories of interactions and understandings with both the ‘choir’ and the ‘other. Her wisdom and expertise have grown out of over 60 plus years of experience and activism.

Today, as we collectively face the threat of impending annihilation this time of our entire planet and not ‘just’ a race, land or a country ,and as we reel from the results of the last presidential electoral college appointment, many people are feeling the intense pain of ‘waking up’ and the critical need to engage in some kind of action. “But What Can I Do?” offers answers to that very question.
