My Story

Hello everyone and welcome to TDMC at Home. Around five years ago while browsing on YouTube I ran into some furniture painting videos and was instantly hooked. To me it was amazing how to take an old, tired and boring piece of furniture and give it a new personality a whole new look full of life. A while after that my wife and I decided to furnish an empty bedroom in the house and make it the guest room. Buying new furniture was not in the budget so we decided to visit some thrift stores to find some good used pieces and use an old bed we already had. Since they didn’t match we decided to refinished them all with a farmhouse look, to our surprise they looked awesome. After that I did a few extra pieces around the house and realized that they were really nice and as good as some of the pieces I was seen in local antique stores. That is when I did my first piece to sell and TDMC at Home came to life. People ask me what does TDMC means and I tell them is the first letter of the name of my wife, children and my self. I am very passionate about my work and always look yo learn new things from some of the most amazing artist in the business. I use nothing but the finest products in the market to bring my customers the best finished product they can get. In my learning quest I not only learned how to paint, but also how to restore antique finishes as well.
