From wine barrel to bistro table

With COVID changing so much AROUND us in the world, it is nearly impossible to not feel the impact WITHIN our world. This is certainly the case in the infancy of C&C by Kim. I was enjoying working with brides and couples to make various details about their weddings align with the dreams they had together as well as working with individuals on party concepts, redesign of their interior spaces and still making tutus (my first step into the world of creative design years ago) whenever someone needed one or 16, done overnight no less.
From the ashes of the few remaining embers came some crazy idea to start redesigning/repurposing/restoring various types of furniture. I was instantly in love. Mind you, I’d tinkered with custom school desks for kids’ spaces and even to use as den side tables but it was nothing like what I was preparing to embark upon. I am so excited about the work I’ve done thus far as well as the endless possibilities ahead.
Thanks to my extremely patient wife as well as the strength and tolerance of our youngest son, I have been able to really push my personal limits and I am super excited to see how far this will go!!
While the heart of my business will always be credited back to the very first tutu, that I made 7 years ago while awaiting the arrival of our beautiful niece, Creative and Cute by Kim is being rebranded to Custom Creations powered by C&C by Kim.
