Stars and Strikes Woodstock Leagues

Gauging interest in any one interested in a stars and strikes Woodstock league this season. If you are let me know.

If you are interested in starting up a Tuesday night money league for the second half of the season (starting after the first of the year), please express your interest here.

There is plenty of room to fill this league up. $8.00 lineage. Pizza frames, strike pots.

I am gauging interest in this Tuesday night Blind Doubles format.

I talked to Stars and Strikes Management at length over the last couple of days. They have stated that if there is any interest in maybe a short half season Tuesday night league, not necessarily a money league, but something to generate interest in bowling, they will help us get it off the ground. I'd like to get maybe 10-12 teams going.
We opened the Thursday night league last night, and I have to admit, it was fun, the concerns about the noise, the windows, and other things seemed to be satisfied. We had a pretty decent shot out, and I although it took me the first games to finally figure it out, once i did, it became easy. The league was capped at 20 teams, but the teams that were turned away, were asked to join the Wednesday league and perhaps can be persuaded to join a Tuesday league instead.
We don't have to go $25.00 for this league, it can be $20. Perhaps the sponsorship money we secured for the Monday league is still available for this league if we can get it off the ground. Along with that, we will have the strike pots, 50/50 and brackets available all run by the house.
If there is any interest, let me know. If you have any ideas, I'd like to hear them.
The center is here. It is not going away, and it is a great environment. And with the right shot out, the scores will be high.
Since we aren't competing with anyone in an existing league, perhaps we can get the word out and give it shot. If we can't get it started in this half, we will make another run at it for the second half of the season.

Here is what we learned at the meeting last night:

- The league has already secured 3224.00 dollars in additional sponsorship money.
- The ad in the Cherokee Ledger is generating responses for possible sponsorships
- 50/50 brackets will be run by the house.
All the above amounts to additional prize fund money.

- The house will sponsor and pay out weekly; the Strike Pot, the 3-6-9 Strike pot
and the 250 jackpot.. The 250 jackpot is a payout for every pin over 250 in
single games.
This is money paid out weekly to those who enter the side pots.

- 300/800 recognition. I think that speaks for itself.

The league start date was pushed back to the 17th.
