I love the challenge of small and unusual spaces! My client's fun playroom had lots of corners and cubbies, but floor space was at a premium. Small changes like turning the train table to make the closet useable reaped huge space benefits!

Confession time: this was my closet this morning (and the last 5+ years 😳). I spent the last days of 2016 rereading my copy of Marie Kondo's 'The Life-Changing Magic of Tidying Up' and I knew that I wanted to spend the first day of 2017 passing on the objects that I no longer need or use. It was a long day, but also a fun, cathartic one! Excited to drop off 8 trash bags at Goodwill tomorrow morning! Do you need help separating the wheat from the chaff in your closet?

Years ago I started assembling my own cookbook-- my weekly favorites, holiday standbys and treasured family secrets. The heavy binder is a great sentimental joy, but also a useful one-- my best recipes at my fingertips when I'm cooking and I can make notes about what did and didn't work. Bonus tip: tabs for frequently used recipes. Hope your Thanksgiving is filled with warmth, good food and kind words. 🦃
