BPR is permanently closed due to life altering events. Any dogs re-homed from February 2025 on cannot be returned. WE ARE FULL AT THIS TIME. INTAKE IS CLOSED.
We take in starved and abused dogs and make them well and happy to be dogs! We only accept a few dogs at a time in order to better concentrate on their individual needs. Our dogs are amazing, forgiving, and very loving. They are adopted out to their forever homes once they are physically and emotionally well, spayed/neutered, have all their shots including a 12 month heartworm prevention shot for

Close to the same vet report as Milkshake! Belvedere is approximately 4 years old,14 lbs, healthy except for some wormies in his belly (Milkshake too), has had his shots updated (both boys will get boosters in 3 weeks at their post neuter checkups), heartworm negative, and has now had the 12 month ProHart heartworm prevention shot. Scheduled for neuter on May 13th! 💜

My favorite human food is: We don't get human food here, but I'm sure I'd love it all!!
My biggest fear: I ain't scared of ANYTHING!!
My favorite thing do: get under the covers and sleep all day next to my mom
My favorite toy: I don't play with toys. I doubt I ever had any so I don't need them now.
What I hate most: When my mom goes somewhere and I have to get in my crate. My name suits me so I can't be around some of these other dogs if Mom's not here.
Where do I sleep? Next to my mom.
Do I snore? No
Here I am: Mom was trying to get a good picture of me for a possible meet n greet. I was not very cooperative. Not real big on this whole adoption thing.
P. S. I have not been spayed.

Milkshake's vet appointment went great! He's a healthy 17 lb bouncing baby boy! 🤣 Approximately 4 years old, all shots now up to date, heartworm negative, 12 month ProHart heartworm prevention shot. Neuter will be done May 13th!
Any dogs re-homed from this month forward cannot be returned. The rescue is closed.

Any groomers out there willing to give me a good deal on grooming two little Yorkies? They are in big need of some loving grooming! I have to wait until payday in a week or so but would like to get appointments scheduled. Huntsville, Riverside, or Trinity areas.
