SHOP UPDATE! We've been quiet on social media for awhile, mainly taking care of our family and valuing working at a slower pace. In that spirit, I'm happy to let you know that we will be taking a pause from pegboards to welcome BABY #3 arriving at the end of September! At Thanksgiving dinner this past year, I gave a little squeal of delight when I saw that posted this video of our Texas pegboard. I then found myself explaining to the table what an influencer is and how important they are to our small business. Someone asked me, "So is her post a big deal?" At that moment, a ka-ching went off on my phone.
Thanks to all of the influencers who have gone above and beyond for small businesses. I'll tag I few of my favorites in my stories. Who do you love to follow? I'd love to hear!
Our new home in Austin, TX needed a lot of work aesthetically speaking, but I didn't mind because I loved the neighborhood and the layout. There was one detail I couldn't shake though- two UGLY utility doors that jutted out into the kitchen. I told my husband, Alex, to come up with something to fix it. Not only is he handy and smart, but he has a great eye for design too.
His solution was a giant pegboard that covered the doors. The pegboard quickly became my favorite feature. I loved the versatility, the simplicity, and I was pretty sure that others might love it as much as I did. Every time I hosted a playgroup or our preschool co-op, I received tons of comments on the pegboard that Alex made for our kitchen. So here we are @PickaPeg! Thanks for journeying with me. I'm excited to see what's next.
