My name is Angela Lageman. I am Jack Lageman’s wife..
As you may know, Jack passed away on August 1 .
I am in need of selling his CNC machine and I’m gonna sell it as a package deal .
Jack purchased his Maverick 4 x 8 CNC machine with an automatic tool changer in early 2023. He probably got maybe close to seven months of use out of the machine.
I am selling the machine, the air compressor, the cooling unit and all the bits that he purchased all separately in a package deal of 42K

Please reach out to me on here if you know someone that is interested .
Thank you for your time

Decided to place the top to see how the island will look. Wow can’t wait for the final finish on this one. 😊

Worked on the compartment top today.😊 The right hand side will be a draw that house a knife set with a little room left over for sharpener and cooking scissors. The left side is going to house the 20” X 16 1/2” end grain cutting board that will be on a pullout slider for easy access. Overall it’s starting to come together the way I pictured it. The entire Island was made of 100% walnut with NO Plywood. Even the bottom of the draw is 3/8” walnut😊. Oh and I installed wheels today as well.

Kitchen island with slats turn out like I expected. What I tried to do is select wood especially for the front of the island that had a lot of beautiful knots and grains and by doing the flat slats I believe it worked very well.

If you think you have all the clamps you need, forget that thought and buy more.😂 Glue up for the slats took 22 clamps.

Update on kitchen island build. I had to decide the design of the ends of the slats that I am installing for a bottom shelve. The choices were beveled edges, flat square edges with a slight overhang or square and flush with bottom rail. After asking all my friends on Facebook I made the decision to go Square and flush. Since the legs, top, and ends of rails were beveled already I believe it would have been too much to have 11 slats beveled as well.

It’s the final glue up day for the kitchen island I am working on. Starting to finally come together!😊

Haven’t posted in a while because I have been working on a 100% walnut island work table/serving table. This piece is not finished yet but should be nice in the end of the project. I attached picture of the different stages below staring with the top, legs, and the start of the base. As I get more pictures I will post them!😊

Once the the board was completed from first shown in prior picture then it was cut and pieces flipped to create end grain cutting board making the board look completely different.😊

Last night glued up a really big cutting board 24”x18”x 2” thick. This will be an end grain butcher block with Walmut, cherry, maple, yellow heart, and Purple Heart. Letting it dry and will cut it tomorrow and do a second glue up. I think this one could be a show stopper once it’s completed!😊

Today finished up an end grain cutting board.

Wanted to try a different design on my cuded boards and asking for feedback back on which board looks better? The one on the top is the first board design. It has 1 3/4” squares and round over edges. The new design has 1 1/2” squares with angle edges. I like the one on the bottom. What do you think?😊
Also if anyone is interested in purchasing one of the boards let me know.
