Genuinely scared while opening these bottom doors to clean this ancient curio. omG. Creepy!! This I think will be the biggest transformation. I wish I had two weeks just to dedicate to this piece.

I have officially begun working on my furniture for the the Saint James Academy Christmas Shoppe which is in less than 2 weeks. I'm not sure how I'll pull it off. This staircase and balcony was the first I've ever done. First, I'm grateful to my new client, Brooke, for trusting me to dive in. I'm also grateful to my best employees ever. Lol my parents!! Maureen Leitch Seaman. It turned out beautifully. I love the iron balusters and the Kona stain. !! and even stairs!
Wow! It's been a whirlwind of a year. I've been crazy busy!! This past week has been especially busy. I'm feeling in a reflecting mood. Maybe because I'm another year older. Maybe because I lost someone special. I don't know. But I just want to thank everyone who puts up with me. Who loves me. Who loves my work. Who supports me...thanks!

This table has been a huge eye opener for me. It must have had some major fun over the years! That's all I can say. What I know is that I do love to learn new techniques and be more aware when I look at old pieces. So cheers to this old girl! She'll be lookin' great soon! I should definitely start a blog to record all the different processes I use! If not for others but for myself to remember! Lol 😆 stay tuned -FINALLY??!!- maybe for afters. Very soon.
This post is just to thank all my clients for being understanding of my this last couple days (weeks, months) is this Saturday and then the Hindu/Indian celebration in California the following weekend. I've had the pleasure of being the wedding planner- it has taken the front seat though! So thanks!
