Hey everyone! Since we have a lot of new followersI thought I would take the opportunity to introduce myself. I am Devan Peterson owner of Peterson’s Custom Woodworking. My wife McKenzie and my two sons Theo and Micah round out the humans in our family. Jenks our Great Dane pup is the only non human 😆.

We predominantly provide custom hardwood dining room furniture. However we also offer additional services depending on our schedule.

The trailer is finally up and running! 🙌

Having another dedicated space for finish sanding is going to be a huge help, and the lighting in here is perfect for applying finish and catching those little imperfections before a piece heads out the door. In addition to hauling and delivering the finished product!

Really looking forward to putting this setup to work and getting a ton of use out of it! 🪵🔨

The phrase Never Forget became engraved in our society 25 years ago. I will never forget coming home from school where I was in 4th grade and turning on ESPN. When I started watching all I saw was burning buildings. I was so confused. It is one of my earliest memories that I can vividly remember. There is nothing we can do to show enough respect to everyone who was involved that day. Today we all just need to walk through our life and appreciate what we have and the freedoms we enjoy. Meet the undisputed leader of our shop: the **Festool CT 26 Dust Extractor**, complete with a Festool Workcenter on top.

This setup goes wherever the work takes us, keeping our most-used tools, sandpaper and accessories organized and within arm’s reach. More importantly, the CT 26 captures dust directly at the source—helping us maintain a cleaner, safer workspace while creating the smooth, professional finishes our furniture deserves.

It may not be the biggest or flashiest machine in the shop, but it works alongside us on nearly every project. From sanding and routing to final cleanup, this setup keeps the shop running efficiently from the first cut to the finishing touches.
