We recently welcomed Pierre & Co Design Studio Inc. to our manufacturing facilities in Dongguan, China, for an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at production for The Nell at Rockefeller Center in New York City.

Alongside Mittman Hospitality founder Steve Mittman, our Director of Engineering, and our dedicated quality control team, Pierre reviewed final finishes and pre-production samples across upholstery and case goods.

From design vision to final ex*****on, this hands-on collaboration reflects our commitment to precision, quality, and bringing every detail to life.

Last month, Frank Boardman sat down with some of Atlanta’s most respected designers for an intimate luncheon.

We skipped the showroom for Hotel Phoenix Atlanta , a Mittman project, and walked guests through the penthouse furnished with custom pieces built for that exact space.

The pieces were only half of it. We wanted our guests to get a true taste of Mittman and feel what it’s like to work with us: the attention, the details, and the people behind every build, all moving with quality and intention.

Thank you, Atlanta. This one meant a lot to us.

On September 30, we brought Mittman to Dallas, TX! We invited a select group of the city’s leading designers to join us at Monarch Dallas inside the Thompson Dallas for an evening built around one belief: our work is best judged in person.

So we brought the pieces with us. Our guests ran their hands across the veneers, studied the joinery, tested the hardware and took a close look at the finishes. These are details no spec sheet or rendering can fully capture, and watching designers experience them firsthand was the highlight of the night for us.

Over dinner, we talked about what truly separates one piece from another, from species and veneer layup to metal, stone and construction. The conversation was thoughtful and candid, and it is exactly the kind of exchange that makes this industry so rewarding.

Some rooftops are built for a view. This one was built for a moment: to see, and to be seen.

This installation has been in place for seven years and still looks as sharp as day one, a real testament to what custom, built-to-last furniture can do in a space this demanding.

At the heart of DC’s Navy Yard, this rooftop bar sits above a neighborhood with real history. The Navy Yard is the oldest shore establishment of the U.S. Navy, established in 1799, once alive with the work of building ships and preparing for war. That industrial spirit is woven into every detail here: raw steel, honed stone, and rich wood grain, softened by leather and fabric that keep the space from ever feeling cold.

Wood and upholstered bar seating contrasts against the metal and stone below it, while intimate seating areas tucked around the room create space for quieter conversations, even with a 180-degree view of the city on full display. The bar opens directly onto an observation deck, extending the experience outdoors without losing a step.

At W New Orleans French Quarter, our team reimagined the in-room bar as a true custom-designed centerpiece.

Book-matched stone climbs the wall in waves of amber and stone, brass fixtures catch the light at every turn, and a fully custom cabinetry system opens to reveal a bar, sink, and mini fridge, all built into one seamless architectural moment.
