Today is a little CNH anniversary! 🤎🪵
While working through the steps to transfer our LLC from South Dakota to Idaho, I realized our business was officially registered on September 17, 2020. 🙈
And it made me stop and think about how much has changed…
Six years ago, Cody was building all kinds of custom furniture pieces, and I was making little painted and wood-burned decor, garland, and whatever else I could make from scrap wood.
When we did have charcuterie boards, they were made from 2 maybeee 3 types of wood, there were two sizes and they were rectangles — no handles, no animal shapes, and no pretty exotic woods…
Slowly, things started evolving. We added cutting boards with juice grooves and small handles on charcuterie boards along with more size options and included more wood species as those became popular when we started going to vendor shows in 2021.
And somehow, those boards became what CNH is known for today. 🥹🪵
The business continues to surprise us in ways I never could have imagined back in 2020 when we filed for the LLC.
I think that’s one of many special things about this move to Idaho — getting to slow down and reallyyyyy think about how far we’ve come…🥹
We never had it all figured out. We just kept taking the next step, saying yes to custom orders and vendor shows, and somehow the next step always showed us where to go from there — while learning SO much along the way!
