These details didn't come off a shelf. We created them right here in our shop.

At Hamlins Wood Design, custom means starting with an idea and working through the details to bring it to life. We work alongside our clients, refining designs and making adjustments until everything comes together.

Sometimes our clients give us creative freedom. Other times, we collaborate on every little detail. Either way, we're shaping, building, and crafting pieces specifically for their space.

From custom door profiles to decorative trim and finished cabinetry, every detail is part of the design.

Custom isn't just what we build. It's how we build it.

A little behind the scenes look at the work that goes into our custom cabinet doors. From routing each detail to sanding everything smooth, it's these steps that bring the finished product together. It's a lot of work you may never notice, but it makes all the difference.

This walnut and maple cutting board brings together the rich, dark tones of walnut and the lighter maple grain. The contrast between the two woods really makes it stand out.

It features a juice groove around the edge and our Hamlins Wood Design logo to finish it off.

One of the best things about working with natural wood is that every piece has its own unique grain and character. No two boards will ever be exactly alike.

Thank y’all for supporting our small family business! If you’re interested in a custom cutting board, send us a message. We’d love to make one for you!

Looking back at a past project from the shop! These custom-built legs were made for an outdoor kitchen island, with bold lines and a rich, dark finish that really make them stand out.

We love looking back at the unique projects we've had the opportunity to build over the years. No two custom jobs are quite the same, and that's part of what makes this work so rewarding.
