This is fun!! Just making more Charcuterie Boards (18” x 11” approx) and Serving Trays (22-26” x 11” approx) to raise money for Helen’s Cancer Journey. Will be for sale soon $65-$75 depending on size.

Hardwoods include:

Hard Maple, Black Walnut, Cherry, Yellow Heart, Padauk, African Mahogany, Canary Wood, Beliwood and Purple Heart.

I was asked to build a 14 x 4 Ash conference table top, with cut outs for two comms units and design a base to be built by the customer’s fabrication team. We started with 16’ Ash boards which were simply the heaviest I have ever worked with.

Here is the review from the designer involved:

“I’m a designer in the Madison MS area and working with Mark on my client’s custom conference room table was an excellent experience and the finished product is perfection! Mark communicated with me every step of the way, sending frequent pictures and staying on our projected 3 week timeline. He helped me determine that Ash wood would be the best choice for the length of table and color we were wanting to achieve. He worked swift and with great precision. I’m so pleased with the final product, I’ll post more pictures after our communication boxes are installed. Highly recommend Mark!”

This was an unusual project. Customer needed 16’ x 4’ but made up of four 4’ square tables that could be de/attached as needed. Black Walnut was a great choice - it is such a beautiful wood.

This is what’s great about custom made items….you get what you want.
