This lidded box is just stunning! It’s made from a large chunk of walnut burl I found at a ‘getting rid of stuff’ sale, and a lid liner made of some scrap mesquite!
The lid itself has an inlay of resin. It’s an overpour I had made and saved from probably over a year ago! It has beautiful swirls of color shift pigment that give a kn artistic feel to it.
All in all this was a crazy cool success to add to the books!

I turned another handle for a coffee scoop kit. I kept the profile very simple, with a gradual taper from scoop to end. I also finished this one with CA glue for a nice, shiny, waterproof coat.
I don’t remember the type of wood it was, unfortunately, but I believe it was a type of rosewood. Either way, it didn’t disappoint 🤩.

A bottle shaped bottle opener, made from wenge and recycled skateboards! 😎 ♻️ 🛹.
This is a really cool combo, especially with the grain direction of the wenge contrasting the layers of the board laminates!
