Stop shuffling and start purging!

Turntables are one of my favorite tools for organizing! I love to cook, so having ingredients at arms length is a must for me!

The other day my son mentioned he was running out of shampoo. We are limiting trips to the store and trying to be very frugal while the stay-at-home order is in effect.

I went through our travel supply and found plenty of shampoo for him. This got me thinking of ALL of the travel size items and samples in the bottom of drawers, medicine cabinets and linen closets.

Go ahead...search, scavenge, dig for all of these items AND use them up. You'll save a few cents, clear some clutter, and maybe find a new favorite cream!

Day 3 Challenge - Closet

👚 Pull EVERYTHING out of the closet
👗 Sort into piles - tops, blouses, sweaters, jackets, pants, jeans, etc
👖 Try everything on!
Does it fit?
Is it comfortable?
Are you ever going to wear it again?
Do you have more than one similar items?
👔 Create 3 piles - Keep, donate, trash
👕 Determine zones in the closet - organize by casual, work, dress OR blouses, slacks, tops, etc.
🧥 Organize in a way that makes sense to you and your routines. Consider what will be sustainable for you.
👙 I like to organize by style then by color!

Tackle Two Kitchen Drawers

Are you conducting home schooling at the kitchen table?

While the kids are writing essays or doing long division, take ten minutes to clean out two drawers.

🍴Dump everything out of the drawer.
🍴Sort into categories.
🍴Wipe out the drawer.
🍴Are you using all of those kitchen gadgets?
🍴How many slotted spoons do you need?
🍴Do you have similar items in another drawer?
🍴Sort, purge, reorganize.
