You're reading this right now, probably scrolling your feeds looking for something interesting. But you stopped for this post. I wonder if it's because I used the word...you?
There's a reason Joe from the TV show "You" catches your attention, well there are a lot of reasons, but one of them is definitely h his use of the word you. It's one of the most attention-grabbing words you can use in copywriting. It is especially useful and impactful when writing social media captions.
Try incorporating more "yous" in your copywriting and see what it does for...you. 😉

You're being talked about on social media. Yes, you. Yes, your business. Somewhere in a comment section, private group or even private message you've been mentioned. It's like Thanos...inevitiable.
This is true if you have accounts on social media or not.
So what can you do? Take control of the narrative! Don't just be talked about on social media, do some talking of your own! Tell your story the way you want it told.

The creative process is unique to every creator. Even within a basic framework broken down into research, ideas, brainstorming and design, each stage can look very different for each person and, truthfully, can be different from project to project.
Marketing is about so much more than data and numbers, it's about using data and numbers to tell a story, and that's a very creative endeavor.

Writing is not a spectator sport.
You can't think your way to getting copy on the page, unfortunately. Not that thinking isn't involved, it certainly is, but if you want to get great words out there, you have to start writing them. Polished writing comes from diligent editing, more so than tedious planning and thinking.
It should be a collaborative effort, even if you outsource your copywriting for the best results.
