My name is Greg Smith, and I am a husband and proud father of 3 wonderful children. My wife Dana and I live and work as missionary pastors to an International English speaking church in Würzburg, Germany. Originally from North Carolina, we moved to Germany in 2002 after we both accepted positions in Germany. We became pastors of a church that was originally founded to minister to US Military perso
nnel and their families. Today though, in addition to military personnel, we reach English speakers from all over the world living in the area, and also German nationals. Dana continues her teaching career today as a special education teacher teaching the children of military families who are serving in the US Military stationed overseas. My children were 8, 10, and 14 when we moved here, but all of them have since returned to the United States to attend college. My oldest son graduated in December 2012, and my other son and daughter are still pursuing their degrees. Prior to moving to Germany to pastor, I worked for Sprint in the Emerging Technologies department as a Technical Sales Engineer. Before this, I worked for BellSouth Mobility, now AT&T Wireless, selling wireless solutions to businesses and corporations. I have also been privileged to own my own business that specialized in selling and installing high-end mobile electronics, and home entertainment systems. My wife and I are very happy, and love the opportunities we have had while living in Europe. We have done our share of traveling, and we both love exploring all of the culture and history found in Europe. Our plan is to continue in our positions for as long as we can.
