Nationals Chicago 2015

Just a reminder: All officers, we have the stucco video tomorrow so dont forget to bring official attire. You do not have to wear this all day just make sure you have it for after school. Also we are still doing lunch recruiting so make sure to show your support by coming to the table to help hand out flyers.

Hey everyone, just another reminder that we do have a work day tomarrow, Tuesday, July 28th from 9am to 2pm in room 203. Long hours so remember to bring a lunch. :)

We would like to congratulate Clarissa Toddman on winning third place at the Thrive Time Challenge!!!!! She won a $2500 scholarship to any university, or if she decides to go to ASU they will match that making it a total of $5000!!! So proud of you, and all the student who went out today to compete. We can't wait to go back next tear to take the title home!

We are here at ASU West to participate in the Thrive Time Challenge. ASU has partnered up with Thrive Time to offer up to $10,000 in scholarship money to the winning student! 2nd and 3rd place will have up to $5,000 and $2,500 offered to them. Good luck to all the Tolleson and University High who are playing!!

Members and advisors from across the Tolleson District came together for the TUHSD CTE Advisory Council Meeting. We went over this past school, and how much the CTE programs have improved. As well as asking students, parents, business leaders, and community members as to how we can improve even more next year. Thank you to everyone who came out tonight!

Advisors, Officers, Members, and parents all went downtown today to participate in the March of Dimes- March for Babies. For the month of March, we have been raising money at lunches and in CTE classes. In our first year, we raised over $700! We couldn't be happier to support this organization and all the great work that they do. Good job Wolverines!!!

Senator John McCain stopped by closing sessions to give a short speech. Some of our members caught him on his way out, and they were able to take a picture. So cool!!!

Students from Tolleson and all around the Tolleson district volunteered today at this years 32nd annual Thanksgiving Tolleson Community Thanksgiving Dinner put on every year by Dr. Charles A. Landis. It was a great way for the students and faculty to show their thanks for the community. The Tolleson FBLA chapter wants to wish you and your families a Happy Thanksgiving!
