come with me on a journey to find cozy contentment in your everyday through my Lord and Savior, Jesus Plus, I am cold ALL THE TIME (just ask my husband).

From one perpetually cold person to another, these are my creations for you. Have you ever scrolled through Pinterest and had one particular piece of furniture, art, or clothing just pop out at you? Then you clicked through to see how much it was and instantly tried to forget about it because it was way out of your price range? Yeah, this happens to me ALL THE TIME and usually my thoughts take me to how I could make the same item myself. Well, that is where DIY Daydreams came from—whether at work, in class, or during dinner with the ‘rents, I was always thinking of things that I could make, create, or just have fun with. Recently, I found my daydreams started shifting towards crocheting —a new pattern that I was dreaming up, a sweater that I really wished I owned, or ways to make crochet more modern and less granny-ish. It got to the point where all I could think of was crochet and buying new yarn to make the pretty things I dreamed about. So, teaching myself how to crochet and making my own scarves/beanies just seemed like the right course of action. But, I could only afford so many skeins of yarn before I would have to resort to selling my car. So, I had to think of a new way to fuel my passion. That’s when I decided to create this Etsy shop. It’s really a win-win for all of us! I can do what I love (crochet), and make beautiful things for you to wear (scarves, headbands, beanies, etc). Only through your purchases can I find new and exciting ways to bring my dreams to life! I hope you love all the items in my shop (they were created specifically for you) and I hope they keep you warm! I loved my first pumpkin so much, I made another.....and cut fabric for a third 😬

But I also thought I'd tell you how to make your own!!

Supplies you'll need:
- 15"x30" ish piece of fabric. I didn't measure. Just go with your heart. You could also use the body of an old sweater and eliminate the first step altogether!
- String or yarn to sew it up. I'm using cotton yarn here
- A large and sharp embroidery needle
- Stuffing, either from an old pillow or old fabric scraps or new from the store.

(cont. from video)....not completely build up my inventory, so it's not a total loss. If you've been watching my stories from today, you'll know that I've been side-questing quite a bit, but we did all the things! Yay!

More to come tomorrow as we load, set up, and set up the market.

We'll be at the Yorba Linda town Center from 4-8 tomorrow night, booth 35!
