If you know this scene from "Up in the Air", then you know what I'm about to tell you.
Recently I had a job offer present itself to me via an old co-worker. A job with great pay and great opportunities for self-growth and further networking. I've been busy getting all my ducks in a row for this position and have been slowly knocking out my projects in the shop.
Unfortunately, I will be slowing down my building, not completely, but enough to make a noticeable impact. I want to thank everyone who has supported me this far and all those who will continue to in my next adventure.
My hope for this business is to move into a commercial space where I have a little more room to do my favorite projects. Get some of the dust out of my house, garage, and at times my car. Not much will change as I will be using the evenings and weekends to continue to grow. For transparency's sake I will still take on new work but my turn-around may be longer than usual.
I'll keep everyone updated.
Stay safe!
Nigel

Wow last 7 days have been rough for me. COVID and yesterday I got to go to work with my wife (not to say hello to her co-workers either).
Kidney stones are no joke. Love getting kicked while I'm down. Dear July please be better than the end of June. Thanks.
Hope you all are staying safe. And since they compare these as the closest thing to giving birth.....ladies you all are Gods.

Not sure when I got my share but this week has been semi-rough for me. Still holding on and working when my body tells me I can. Missed it with a medical professional in the house for 2+ years, but this week it stopped by 🤣. Hope everyone else is staying safe!

A few pieces I knocked out today. Some monogrammed flights and a charcuterie board. Hope everyone is staying safe during these insane thunderstorms here in Ohio.

Getting my small cut stock together to make some items. I've got a small event coming up this weekend, Germantown's Saturday Night Out, (on Saturday of course) where I will be selling a few smaller items. Come out and support our local creatives if you happen to be in the Germantown area. A huge thank you to for hosting us all and for providing the event.

Finally got the floating shelves and dishwasher surround finished up. Clients have been using the butcher block daily which I love to hear. What do you think?

This weekend some of my buddies and I played in a golf scramble benefiting my local school district's athletic boosters group. I donated four plaques so that they would have something to give to the proximity marker winners. I experimented with CNC and Laser options. They seemed really pleased with how they came out. I had a great time making them and while our team will not be joining the PGA anytime soon it was a great time.

Custom Military/L.E. Patch and Coin holder I made for one of my good friends I went through military officer training with.
She helped me come up with this cool State of Ohio design. I've been lacking in my duties of collecting patches and challenge coins over the years but hopefully she will be able to fill it up a lot better than I can.
Can't wait to knock out some other cool shapes.

New helical head jointer for the shop. Should make my large face and edge grain glue ups that much better. I waited too long for this.
