I got the latest version of my automatic blast gate installed and tested today. 115-240v input from the machine opens it and then it closes when power is removed. Simple 2-wire connection to the motor side of the starter. This version also has manual operation... just turn the k**b. Much simpler and fewer parts! Also, much more compact than what's on the market.

Here's my latest automatic blast gate design. I've gone through several different versions (electric actuator, pneumatic and electric solenoid) and I think this one is finally a good compromise of features, complexity and versatility. Dual voltage (110/220vac) electric or manual operation using the k**b.

Finally got to try out the Mikron molder! Works great except the dust collection... I'll have to design a better shroud. This machine can make straight or curved moldings.

Alignment Laser Adjustable Mount v2... I bought a good mount made by Z-Laser but it didn't adjust in every way I needed, so I designed my own. This mount is adjustable in the X and Y axis to align the laser perpendicular to the table and also rotates about the Z axis to align the cross (if you use one).

This is an adjustable laser mount used to line up the CNC router. The prototype works, so I'll be tweaking the design to be more aesthetically pleasing and then try it out on the machine. Let me know if you need anything designed/printed!

I thought I was going to have to sell some equipment but it turns out I just needed to rearrange the floorplan! I just need to reconnect all the machines I moved and redo the dust collection (and clean up, as usual)

Anyone familiar with the vintage Kindt-Collins auto blast gates? I've been working on reproducing them since they're almost impossible to find. 3d printing opens up unlimited possibilities. If you need custom dust collection fittings or other shop accessories like jigs and router templates, let me know. I can custom design and print whatever you need. Thanks!

Just finishing a new dust collection shroud for the planer. It's just above the cutterhead and should work much better than the oem.
The new dust boot is working well! If you need custom shop items (dust collection fittings, etc...) I can help!
