Next Wednesday at Lockbourne Rd. and Refugee Rd. We will have a quick 1-1/2 hour litter pick along the sidewalks, roadside, and railroad ditch. We will meet at 6:00pm, and park along the Northaide of Refugee along the tracks. Due to traffic being close, we recommend this cleanup be 16 and older. Come join us in our quest to Keep Columbus Beautiful.

878!!! I got to speak about Clear Creeks and Byways at a board meeting with The Daughters of Erin today. They surprised us with a cash donation and a ton of supplies. They donated all kinds of snacks, water, sports drinks, and 878 trash bags to use during our cleanup efforts. Thank you very much! We appreciate all the support. ❤️🌎

36 more bags of litter collected today from our Scioto Audubon Peninsula Cleanup. 9 brave souls spent 2 hours on a hot, muggy, muddy morning picking up litter on the peninsula to keep it from entering our waterways. That’s 72 bags collected this week. We are well on our way to 250 bags collected this summer to celebrate the US’ 250th. anniversary. ❤️🌎
If you plan on attending the Scioto Audubon Cleanup today. Enter from Front St. If coming from the south, turn on Greenlawn and then North on Front. South High Street is closed for a foot race.

SUNDAY! SUNDAY! SUNDAY! Come on over to the Scioto Audubon Grange Audubon Center and help us clean litter on the peninsula there. It will take place from 9:00-11:00. We will walk over onto the Hermit Thrush Trail. Then, we will bushwhack our way through the undergrowth to pick litter on the peninsula that has been left there from last week’s flooding. Plan for wet conditions. Wear boots or sturdy footwear. Pants and long sleeves are suggested. This one is for the adventurous types. If you want to come along, but don’t feel comfortable going into the bush. You can walk along the Scioto Greenway and pick light litter along that bike path. Hope you come on by. ❤️🌎
