Hi folks,
About a year and a half ago, I was diagnosed with advance prostate cancer, that had spread through my skeleton and a couple of organs. Things were looking pretty decent, as the doctors had pushed the prostate cancer into remission… or so we thought. A tendril of the cancer had found it’s way to my bladder where it mutated into a very rare small cell bladder cancer. I am looking at quite a bit of chemo and a hole in my finances while I apply for disability and look to close my public employee retirement account. I also lack a working vehicle (van) to drive to medical appointments and to attempt to continue selling MCM furniture. I am looking to you for some assistance. I really am stuck in a hard, very painful spot. Http://spot.fund/ZachNeedsANewVan. Please help.

Post from the road; freshly picked trio of Yugoslavian made, Modeline/ woodlum style lamps! Two table lamps and a floor lamp, that all match! Unfortunately, I will have to make new shades, these have been through the wringer. Sometimes it pays to ask, “How hard and fast is that ‘Not for sale’ sign?” A friendly chat and a respectful attitude, you never know what will happen.

Very sweet little Arthur Umanoff bar, made by Shaver Howard and sold through Raymor. 42”x18”x 41”. This is the ideal sized bar for an apartment. The bar is made of birch slats, an iron frame with legs and a Formica over composite wood top. The previous owner has covered the Formica top with white contact paper, probably to cover some damage; it looks great, although there are some small wrinkles in the contact paper. $380.00. Available for pickup in Cleveland. Personal delivery is available within 300ish miles of Cleveland or shipping is available nationally. Photo taken outside of Johnny’s Bar on Fulton Avenue in Cleveland.

The Supreme Court has decided that women have no say over their bodies and are second class citizens. I lost 40 followers the night I posted that Joe Biden was the Legally elected President; I would not be totally surprised (although very disappointed) if I lose even more today. Abortion is a women’s health right.

Here’s a pair of Thonet 209, bentwood arm chairs designed by Gebruder Thonet in 1900. 31.5”x22x22”. This chairs elegant minimalist simplicity, there are only six pieces to the chair, made it a favorite of Le Corbusier, who used it to outfit the interior of many buildings. This photograph was taken in Cleveland with the former Wendy Point Coast Guard station as a background, which is an Art Deco beauty. The pair of chairs can be yours for $550.00. Free delivery in the Cleveland metro area, personal delivery within 250 (contact for cost). I can ship nationally or I can work with a shipper of your choice.

A sunny day in Cleveland showing off this black and white op art, plastic, parsons table. 16”x16”x16” There are no markings so… possibly by Syroco or Kartell. Considering that this was made in the late 1970s or early 1980s, it’s in pretty good shape with only some scratches and scuffs on the table top. There are no cracks. All four legs pop off for simple shipping. $200.

“Sunny day, chasing the clods away…”. How about using this massive copper, and brass, “brutalist”sunburst clock to accent your living room! 36”x36”. You guessed it, this will be gracing my booth at the 20th Century Cincinnati show, February 26-27, at the Sharonville Convention Center. I have replaced the motor and it now runs like a champ. Sadly, it is missing two copper pieces, but they are in the back row so they are not that noticeable. This clock is signed but, I can’t make it out. $400.

This, roughly 7ft long gondola sofa in in the “style” of Adrian Pearsall but is certainly NOT by Pearsall. The upholstery is all original and looks like it was never used. The foam and strapping is like new. $1200. I apologize for the lack of artistry in my photo but, weather has been crappy and I wanted to post this gondola sofa before the 20th Century Cincinnati show, February 26-27 at the Sharonville Convention Center.

Yet another striking piece that will be in my booth at the 20th Century Cincinnati show, February 26-27 in the Sharonville Convention Center.

Great, Mid Century Modern rocking chair with striking ebonized base, arms, back, and a maple seat. Likely made in Europe (probably Yugoslavia, maybe Italy). 22.75”x33”x37.5”. Similar to Ilmari Tapiovaara but, definitely not the same. $300. I’ll have this chair at the 20th Century Cincinnati show, in the Sharonville Convention Center February 26-27. #
