On August 1, 2026, the Top Ladies of Distinction, Inc., NewRock Chapter gathered with our Ladies and Top Teens of America for a phenomenal R.I.S.E. Retreat to kick off the membership year!

Together, we strengthened connections, renewed our commitment to service, and set our sights on the impact we will make. With our Ladies and Teens learning and planning alongside one another, we embraced the power of generations moving forward together.

We walked away with renewed energy, a clear vision, and a united front—ready to turn ideas into action and tackle the year ahead with purpose! Our sisterhood is strong, our Teens are empowered, and NewRock is ready to R.I.S.E. to every opportunity to serve. 💗👑

What happens when vision meets unity? A year of extraordinary possibilities. Let’s get to work, NewRock!

At our October chapter meeting, Top Ladies of Distinction, Incorporated, NewRock Chapter proudly honored our cancer conquerors and domestic violence thrivers—celebrating their courage, resilience, and the journeys that have brought them to this moment.

We honor the strength it takes to keep going, the courage it takes to seek support, and the power of having a sisterhood standing beside you. Every story deserves compassion. Every person deserves safety, dignity, and love.

To our conquerors and thrivers: we see you, we celebrate you, and we stand with you. To those still navigating treatment, healing, or finding safety: you do not have to face your journey alone. 💗💜

Summer change → school supplies!

This past summer, our ladies and Top Teens "got loose" for the National TLOD Literacy Committee's Loose Loot for Literacy Challenge. We decorated jars and filled them with loose coins and dollar bills, and every bit of it is going toward notebooks and K–8 school supplies for students in our community.

Thank you to everyone who emptied their pockets, purses and cup holders for a great cause. There's always a child in need, and together we're helping our students start the school year ready to learn.

Today we celebrate the life of Lady Bonita Colette Johnson, a charter member of the Top Ladies of Distinction, Inc. - NewRock Chapter. Her mantra was "Ready to Serve," and she lived it every day. That included outfitting nearly 10,000 girls through Enchanted Closet and her years of service across DeKalb County and beyond. Her homegoing celebration is Saturday, October 3. Please keep her mother, family, and loved ones in your prayers. Rest well, Lady Bonita. May the works you've done speak for you. The Ladies and teens of NewRock Chapter will miss you.

To all the grandparents out there, thank you for your wisdom, your stories, and the love that holds families together across generations. The time you give, the visits, the phone calls, the lessons taught over our lifetimes.

A special shoutout to the Ladies and Lords of the NewRock Chapter of Top Ladies of Distinction, Inc. who are grandparents; the love you pour into your grandchildren is a gift that will carry on for generations. 💛
