Sundance Blanton (2005 Red Dun, 20.31% LB,15.1 hands,1,360lbs, #1 shoe, 7 panel N/N, Hetero Dun, Hetero Agouti, No W-20) sure does "Slap the Hammy's" on his c**ts. This was Aug. 22nd trying to get "Hot Blue Buns" and her dam "Blue Valentine Berry" back to they're pen after re-confirming in foal mares. Can't be in a hurry with this filly lose in tow, she's got never ending energy. Her half-brother thru Sundance, "Adobe Roan" same substance.
Going to haul Sundance to get frozen again early spring of '27. This will probably be the last year I will offer up half the doses pulled. He's not getting any younger and the last Lucky Blanton stallion with both Lucky Blanton and Doc Bar on papers with fewest crosses to LB only (3x) up close passing on isolated genetics up close as well as being a son of "Short Go Luck" giving his c**ts the athleticism, heavy duty build type and easy-going demeanors expected of LB bred prospects.

Meet Parker Davis 11yrs old from The Dalles, Oregon and her 5yr old 1D potential barrel bred mare "Busy Jamie", AKA "Roxy".
This mare is a mini-me "Will James Pistol" daughter. Nothing proves a stallions get better than their ability to take care of the youngsters that swing their legs over them. Roxy's breeding and build type can push a rider's level of competitiveness to the top tier in their respective rodeo timed event as long as they have the confidence and skill set to sit a Rodeo Dirt Torpedo. This little gal has proved that already and as they grow together in their skill set over the next few years, they're going to be a team to be reconned with at the big girl level sooner than later.

Weanling c**ts leave here as good citizens and can be handled with confidence in halter. Nothing worse and gut wrenching than having to figure out what to do if you have to unload a c**t that is a trainwreck on the side of an interstate because the transport went down for some reason. Setting up the c**ts and new owners for success is a priority for us not sending off liabilities. Never had anyone complain that they wished the c**ts were untouched and unruly.

Very humbled and appreciative for Bruce and Jamie Travis reaching out earlier this year wanting a replacement breeding stud prospect out of Sundance Blanton for their Mounted Shooting breeding program. These guys are some of the Big Dogs in the sport east of the Rockies. They campaign and compete on all their breeding stallions. So, if this c**t holds true to the Broken Spur breeding programs past success producing mounted shooter stock, you'll see him on the Cowboy channel getting to it at full tilt guns a blazing.
If anyone out there is looking for mounted shooting stock out east give TRAVIS QAURTER HORSES in Creston Iowa a shout. Great Folks & Strait Shooters. Literally!!!

Had her in foal to Sundance Blanton for 2027, put on regumate as precaution and then we were literally choked out with wildfire smoke so thick sometimes couldn't see 75 feet for almost a month; it knocked out half the confirmed foal crop pregnancies for 2027.
This was one that really hurt to loose, since Blue Light Ike daughters are almost extinct, let alone find one that's not Grey. Hopefully we'll get her in foal again to Sundance Blanton for a 2028 top shelf Lucky Blanton 21.29% Powerhouse Genetic Treasure.

Looking forward to my little buddy doing what he loves on a son of Sundance.
My youngest grandson Wade Letteriello 18mnths old aboard Sundance Blanton 21yrs Old @ Broken Spur Quarter Horses, Cove Oregon. Not many kiddos can say they sat a 1,360lb breeding stallion with Lucky Blanton (1936) on his papers and a son of Short Go Luck.
This little guy is swinging and firing ropes all day long; he wants to be just like his daddy and rope, rope, rope. He's a natural; panty-hosed the house cat more than once. lol

Jim is Bob Hadley's eldest son and rode a lot of the horses Bob bred at the big rodeos. His breeding program's genetics that he put together over a lifetime set all of us up for success that breed, use and compete on Lucky Blanton horses today.
