And just like that, it’s done. My LAST project in the books. Getting to make this little toddler bed was a blast but was definitely more work than anticipated just trying to make sure things we rounded so my little buddy would stay safe! As I close out this season of life I’m glad I had one last commission to finish it out with.

Planning to make 8-10 more cutting boards as many have wanted some and I’d love to leave you with one. If you’re interested at all please let me know. I will then Plan to sell an array of tools the second week of November, so if you’re interested in tools feel free to reach out and I’ll send you a list with prices.

Sad to share this, but after a whole lot of consideration we will be closing up shop at the end of this month. We’ve had a lot of change in our lives and all for the better. Starting a new job in a new industry has been amazing but i hope to give more of my time studying and learning in my spare time. Our Family grew from 2 of us to 3 earlier this year and I don’t want to miss a moment with our sweet girl. This shop has been a blessing but not having the margin to work in it anymore and keep the business paying for itself becomes burdensome. I’m sad and I love my shop, and loved getting to build this up, but I love my girls more.

Thank you everyone for everything. For every like, every share and every purchase you all made! Thank you for every little bit of support! And thank you for being my biggest supporter and for loving me so much you would venture with me into this! Now it’s my turn to focus on you and !

Lastly, I have 6 cutting boards left and won’t be planning to make anymore. The shop equipment will be sold off, so I won’t be able to make any for this holiday season.

While I love getting to build and create, I definitely struggle with the creative marketing/social media side of things. I figured, since this table came out amazing, why not use it as the back drop!

Not sure why I put this off for so long but today I felt encouraged to take the step and starting my own Etsy shop. To some it’s not a big deal but to me it definitely is. I’ve been supported by those around me and continue to feel their support and I only hope to grow as I continue my woodworking journey!

Winter is coming! But not before fall l (or second summer in HTX)

Looking ahead, the holidays are not too far off and I definitely learned from last year. So I’m planning now to create an inventory as well as some built to order boards.

Walnut charcuterie boards can be a perfect gift as a single board, or as a set with different sizes.

Gotta love a good serving board! I have some plans to crank out a few serving/charcuterie boards of different shapes and sizes. A few will be made from live edge walnut while most will be from regular dimensioned walnut. If you’re interested at all, as always, feel free to reach out!

The results are in and so are the hairpin legs! The people have spoken and hairpin is the way to go.

I plan on making this a full set - coffee table and 2 end tables. The entire set will be made with solid hardwood. It’s crazy to me how much we (me included) are willing to pay for “real” wood furniture - i.e. wayfair, ikea - but this will be real wood, and hand made!

The week’s has been busy but the weekend has been good. Finally finished the “Ombré Butcher Block”, and finished a few others in between!

Funniest thing about staging these boards is seeing me pull out a cheap cutting board to chop the fruit up to put on top of the nice board😜 just want to guarantee that your product is brand new and never been used!

First board (Ombré butcher blocker) is ready to go for $225.
