How we came to be
All my life I have been fascinated by wood grain. In fact, our name, Bear Scratch, comes from a type of wood grain as show in the picture above. This fascination quickly became a passion when I discovered how much fun and gratification comes from using that wood grain to create beautiful pieces for your home or office. In every piece I create, you will find that the grain of the wood contributes to its beauty just as much as the design itself.
