Spring time change on my dining room.

This was truly a labor of love. Layers of black latex paint over varnish and orange stain. I’m not exaggerating when I say this took hours of stripping and sanding. (And I have a torn rotator cuff in my right shoulder!). My determination and lots of Tylenol kept me going. I love the way it turned out. I’m going to be putting some lower profile chairs with it soon. I love the look of raw wood. FYI I did protect it with a layer of wax.

Finally getting around to stripping the top of this oak table I bought in 2005 for $80.00. It has 4 chairs too.

Stripped the black stain off of this end table only to find it had several different types of wood. I knew it wasn’t going to take stain evenly so I used Annie Sloan dark wax. I love how it turned out.

I’m so excited to be fortunate enough to be moving into my own apartment on December 9th. I will have my own garage and I am having my 10’x10’ storage moved into it and set up a shop and start PAINTING!!! I have hutches and chest of drawers. Coffee tables , some desks.
