Sweet Pickins Milk Paint in Sweetie Jane was named after my VW bus, Sweetie Jane. The blue-green color that we mixed up was the exact color I wanted the bus to be painted. Ever since we introduced this color, it has consistently been our top seller on the Sweet Pickins line. It's the perfect blend of a muted blue-green and works with almost any décor style. The color is amazing on its own, or it can easily be changed up by adding one of our colored waxes to it. It's such a versatile color, no wonder it's still a customer favorite!

Here is a little about the Artist Lexi .
She spent years convincing herself she wasn't a real artist. Always moving the finish line over and over until she finally just... stopped. 😅 Sound familiar at all??

You may already know her as the artist behind our popular Whispering Willows Transfer, but we wanted to properly introduce you to Lexi Grenzer. She's a self-taught mixed media artist, nature lover, and the creative mind behind our new Fern Fables Décor Transfer. She grew up watching her grandmother and aunt paint in Santa Fe, taught herself by opening the paints and playing, and eventually landed on the advice she now gives every single one of her students:

"Copy a technique first to learn it, then allow your own personal voice to come through. Be patient and kind to yourself - then run wild!"

Lexi keeps bringing us more of her artistry and we just couldn't keep her story to ourselves any longer. We have a feeling you're going to love her.
