Well, this prototype went off into the world last night and helped support Children’s Diabetes Foundation. It was 3rd in the professional design completion, which was a nice nod to receive. We were sort of wishing no one would bid on it so we could take it back home, but happy it got some love. Cheers!

Tomorrow night I’m a part of his fundraiser/design competition at D’Amore Interiors this Friday night. There will be voting in person and online, so shout out for ya man if you feel so inclined. The cocktail party has an open bar if you’re like me and like that sort of thing. Tickets must be purchased in advance. Info on the flier. This teaser is my design based on the limitations of needing to use my initials as materials and finish. Long live the Lakeview Lounger and good wishes!

After a huge friend gathering around the table this weekend, I find myself thinking of the importance of food in our lives, of how we tend to gather in kitchens, dining rooms, restaurants and beer halls. We have a couple spots left open to custom build a new table for you before the next run of holidays hits next month. Flip through some of our favorite indoor and outdoor setups and let us know if we can help you create your dream dining space! Good wishes!

I usually steer clear of rehabs, but took on this sound system zone rebuild/refinish project moving the shelf, adding divider, new insides and inner frame and also a single sliding door below for record storage. It’s for some dear friends and lives now in their beautiful and mostly original California modern home in Arvada.

Look at this full bed size front porch swing! That splash of blue up there is Sloan’s Lake 100yds away. Good thing for my climbing knot training for those ship knots.

What do you think Marc is doing hanging from the ceiling? Stay tuned, my friends... I think you’ll like it.

The corner return wall needs matching paint yet, but check out how nicely this vintage teak room divider worked into this opened up floor plan! I cut the panel legs off the cabinet and built a toe kick area custom stained base from poplar to keep costs down and it matches perfectly! Long live Mid-century modern!
