TIP: Mow, don’t blow! As your leaves come down, mow over them to mulch them into your lawn. The nutrients in leaves provide nature’s best all-natural fertilizer for the health of your lawn. Plus, it saves you money and time on blowing or bagging them! Just make sure you mow them as they come down so you’re not doing too much at once. 💕

Black plant pots aren’t recyclable — did you know that?? ♻️

The black color can’t be detected by the optical sorting machines used at many recycling facilities, so these pots often end up in the trash.

Check with your local garden center to see if they offer pot recycling. Weston Nurseries in Massachusetts accepts them during the last weekend of each month.

While getting a bunch of pots ready to recycle today, this cute little peeper frog joined me! 💕🐸
