This Labor Day, NAWIC celebrates the people whose skill, determination, and hard work have built our communities and strengthened our nation. 🇺🇸👷‍♀️👷‍♂️

Labor Day was first celebrated in 1882 and became a federal holiday in 1894. It honors the American labor movement and recognizes the contributions workers have made to our country’s growth, prosperity, and well-being.

We are especially proud to recognize the women who continue to break barriers, lead teams, master skilled trades, and build successful careers throughout the construction industry. Their talent and perseverance are helping shape a stronger and more inclusive future.

We also recognize the hardworking men in our industry—especially those who mentor, advocate for, and create opportunities for women in construction. Progress is strongest when we work together, respect one another, and make room for every qualified person to succeed.

Today, we honor the hands that build, the minds that design, and the people who keep our industry moving forward.

The countdown is officially on for the NAWIC Southwest Region Fall Conference in El Paso! 🏗️❤️
