Wagon Chest Bench

Built this chest for a client that needed a sitting piece for her living room but also wanted to put blankets in.
Built with no screws showing on the wood beside hinges. With plenty of room for blankets. The wagon wheels added more to the wagon on picture. Cowhide really complimented the whole chest.

The only challenge was finding the right slow close hinges. Once the foam and cowhide was added, it got a little heavy for just any hinge(s). But I got some lessons learned on most hinges for sure! I tried every size and pressure. 😅

I always forget when I'm building these benches, I need to manhandle them after building them to sand, stain and upholster, etc. Ugh! 😫

The Chair of Many Colors
This is a very special chair to my customer she's had for years. She wanted it all to match including the foot rest that was not part of the chair but wanted to add it. Left me to pick the color. I think these colors turned out a perfect fit.
After sanding, staining and fixing creeks n cracks, she is dressed and ready to Home. 🥰

Unique beautiful wagon wheel custom chair has headed home!
Went from green vintage print to buffalo roping leather and cowhide. Sanded, stained and lock screws to last for generations to come. And their brand for a final touch.

Sassy but Classy Low Rocking Chair!

Refinished from top to bottom with 4" cushion seat 2" backrest. This cool leather is brown with a hint of black. Cowhide has some pretty amazing color and pattern that blends well with black wood. And of course the cap nails to finish this beauty,! See the before and after.

Western Diamond Bench.

Built from hardwood (heavy), beautiful detailed black legs. Leather trim and fringe. Wool saddle blanket with beautiful diamond design and cap nails to compliment the bench. Has 2" cushion for comfort. This beauty would compliment any room.

It started out as footstool, but with some minor adjusted I decided to make it a bench.

Big John Bench is ready and looking sharp for it's new home.
Handmade except for the legs and heavy. With 2 inch cushion for comfort. Soft wool upholstery with all leather trim all around. Really like how the two different colors of leather complement this bench, along with the colors on the legs. Finished with the 1" Finished nails.
Perfect for any long entryway, dining room or table.

I'm not sure why I never posted this last year. But it was a fun little project. Custom old kid rocking chair that had some very old, let's call it vintage, 60's- 70's upholstery. Bright orange, yellow and browns with a big turkey in the middle (forgot to take the before picture 🤦‍♀️)
But I think you get the picture. Lol!

Took everything completely off. Sanded and stained wood areas. Put new cushion, new screws and tightened all up, then put this cute faux cow print upholstery and piping with solid brown for the seat, easy to wipe clean. I'm sure kids are enjoying it now!
