What a wonderful time for an engagement ❤️. The day after Thanksgiving, I was hiding in the shadows under the Brooklyn Bridge. It was a cold, windy day but the skies were so clear, a beautiful bright blue skyline was the background as Ross and Ariella strolled along the waterline. Having told his girlfriend they were going out to dinner, Ross convinced her to take in a view of the skyline before they went to the restaurant. Like a true gentleman, while Ariella was looking out at Manhattan, Ross took to a knee, grabbed her hand and asked her to be his wife. I could see her shock and happiness instantly as she filled her reaction with a yes, of course! This one was so extra special to witness and capture since I’ve now known Ariella and her family since she was only 15. After a few portraits, both the bride and groom to be had family surprise them and show up to help celebrate. Congratulations as you begin your journey towards the wedding! For now just enjoy the new bling and the extra love this Christmas season!

Last weekend I had the pleasure of helping capture Anne & Isiah exchange their wedding vows.
The ceremony was held at Saint Anne’s church in Garden City. It was intimate, heartfelt, and beautiful to capture. The couple, surrounded by their loved ones, exchanged rings, a saree and lovely vows read by one of the priests from the church. After the ceremony we did a mini portrait shoot at the times Old Westbury Gardens. Congratulations to both of you and the families!

So looking forward to Emily and Matt’s wedding day! 1 week to go before these two become Husband and wife! So glad they decided to do engagement portraits! I try to explain to couples, the engagement period is such a beautiful part of their story, it’s worth taking a day to capture some portraits to cherish this time of their journey together and the images will be something they will cherish forever!
