It's been a long week but we are so thankful our Luna is good now. Last Friday morning I found vomit but thought it was probably the grass they eat or something, wasn't too alarmed. Luna however would not eat. Gave her some Pepto and she ate a bit later but threw it up. She kept straining to p**p but nothing much was happening. By late afternoon we decided to take to vet. Scans didn't really show any blockage, grass we were thinking but nothing definite. We were sent home with anti nausea, anti diarrhea and probiotics. Nothing was working so Saturday we took her to . After many hours and scans and blood work, they are so busy there, the doc told us he didn't really see any blockage but her pancreas numbers were elevated some but he did not know if this was the primary or secondary reason for her being sick. We decided to leave her as she would be monitored and given fluids to keep her hydrated along with the other meds. Also they have a shot for pancreatitis and with our approval she was given that, they need approval as the shot is $300. Next day more scans, blood work no improvement still very sick, she was so pitiful😭. Still trying to go potty, some leakage but not much. Monday still no improvement, not eating lethargic. They mentioned that there could be something suspicious on scans but nothing definite. Another day of meds and pancreatitis shot - 3 total. They switched meds to oral from shots in hope we could bring her home on Tuesday. Tuesday morning I go to get her, she is still sick. We came home with all the meds but could bring her back if needed . She did eat a little that evening, so a little hope🙏. We slept in family room so we could monitor her and do p**p watch😂. 5am I gave her anti nausea and at 7 breakfast she finally started eating! Long story but we don't really know exactly what happened but after many prayers and tears and $$$ we have our Luna back❤️🙏. They are like babies in that they can't tell you what hurts it's very scary.

My latest project, and they are getting fewer and fewer😂. Headboards for our guest room. The hand painted picture is one my very talented mother did of her former house which I just love. This room was moms and has a lot of her things in it but it's kinda a hodge podge so it's definitely a work in progress.

The beauty of an old door. Bought this at and it had layers of paint, which was still fabulous but we wanted to take it down to original. Still shows some paint that I left intentionally, the many months of stripping between other projects was worth it, they just don't make stuff like this anymore.

Got the entry papered, it took longer then expected as I miscalculated the waste to line it up. I wanted some color/ pattern but nothing to in your face. I really like the paper, it has a vintage vibe to it.

What a difference a year makes and a lot of sweat equity😜. We have transformed this brick ranch inside and out. The exterior was probably not touched since it was built in '74. We aren't done, there is always more to do. The smear on the brick has been the biggest change, changing the outdated columns to these chunky cedar posts, yanking out the old scrubs and starting a cottage garden style planting. Rick made the shutters and the window boxes❤️. Although most of the renovations have been inside, I am happy with what we've done so far outside. It's so rewarding taking a ugly duckling and transforming it.

Haircut today for Luna and shortly after getting back home😂. She is always so scared, shaking when we go in, I hate that and she is so excited to see me❤️. She is a sweetheart for sure. Oh and she is not gray, she has the white all thru out.

This popped up today. Doesn't seem like it was that long ago, 2018 but a lot has changed. Kids are bigger and we have another grandchild. 4 of the grands have graduated and the oldest is married! We have gotten older, slower😂 and the biggest thing was the life changing catastrophe brain thing with my mom. So thankful we were able to go that year and the following year we couldn't have. God is good tho and we all had a wonderful time, even with the fiasco of Rick leaving his passport at home!

Took the girls for a hike this am. Easiest trail we've ever been on which is good for old people and one old dog😜. But dogs are p**ped, goal accomplished.
